At Funkbuster Baits we take pride in the quality of our baits. We use top of the line materials and hand craft and assemble each individual bait to perfection. Each bait is hand poured, painted, assembled, and packaged... No fancy machinery here. Baits that come with skirts are all hand wire tied, to ensure the skirt doesn't come off when the rubber band wears out on them.
Paul, Brenda, and Mandy all work hard during the week to ensure you catch more fish on the weekend. Whether you're a seasoned tournament angler or just a weekend fisher, our baits will do the job... And they're proven on the water against other top brands. We take extra steps in our bait production to make sure they last catch after catch.
If what is currently offered does not meet your idea of that special go to bait, please do not hesitate to create your own ideas and request we make it. Is it a secret? We will keep all special orders private and will not make those baits available to the general public. Our goal is to share your imagination, put it together in a bait that looks great, be durable, affordable, but most of all CATCH FISH!
Meet the Funks: Paul and Brenda Funk were married in May 2009 in North Dakota. In 2010 Paul was stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and received military orders to Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport Louisiana. Shortly after they arrived, Paul took up Bass Fishing again. A joint decision was made to buy their 1st Bass boat a 2004 Ranger "Old Blue".
Paul retired in 2012 after 24 years of service in the US Air Force. Since retiring, he has fished every chance he gets. One of his favorite baits to throw is the spinner bait which, as you all know, can range from $1.99 to over $10.00.
As with every bait on the market, consumers always return to their favorite colors and brands. This is where the Funks idea began of someday making their own baits, at a reduced price, that matched the colors and qualities of the bigger companies, which is why you are here. We would like to offer these baits to the public.
